May my lobster RIP...

My big lobster just died yesterday... So sad... it laid there, upside down... motionless... i tote it was just slping or something... but there wasn't any reaction when i tap on the glass... So sad... So wasted... I flipped the poor chap over and there it was, as if it was still alive...

I have to clean up the tank tonight le~ too sad to do anything yesterday...

Luckily i have another one in school... This weekend i'll be getting another one to replace this one... Hiaz... i haven even name my lobster and its gone...

Drink Driving... Responsible?

Jus saw a mail forwarded by a friend... Inside is a poem about drink driving... Its very sad dat someone else have to pay for ur mistake...

To all the drinkers out there: if u drink, take a taxi home... even if its just a little sip... at least the taxi drivers are prepared to clean up any mess u might make... imagine vomiting in ur own car... eewwww, who's goin to help u clean up?

Spaghetti~!

Cooked spaghetti for dinner today~ just 1 hour i managed to whip up the best dinner in my whole life~!

Hahaa~ ok, i exaggerated on that part... Just that it has been quite a while since i cooked and it turned out to be fantastic~! So i'm ecstatic~! Btw, in case u are doubtful, i have two tasters to vouch for that~! hahahaa~!

My bicycle is fixed up already~! Will try to cycle to school soon~! But on the safe side, i better start on the 3rd of Oct... i'm on leave that day... goin for medical checkup in the afternoon~ so i can try out the traffic and timing in the morning~! :)

Tequila taste so eeeky~

I declared i dun like the taste of tequila~
yesterday went to some club in M.Sultan for some drinks after work... in celebration of my colleague leaving us for a better place...

The environment was not too bad, cozy and all... but no obvious dance floor and the selection of music was not to my liking... i dun really like R&B and Hip Hop... Very hard to move to... To me lah at least...

My colleagues can drink sial... see them order jug after jug, shots after shots, glass after glass... Kinda scary, considering dat i can't really drink... i have always tote i inherited my mother's genes... she can really drink... no one can make her drunk... but now? i tink i can't drink afterall~

For the last round, we played a game called 7-up... the game goes like this...

We start by calling numbers in anti-clockwise direction and the numbers in order like 1,2,3,4,5... etc etc...
But when it comes to multiples of 7 or numbers with 7 in it, we say "UP" instead of the number...
When a person says "UP" the direction changes...
So we keep doin that until someone makes a mistake, den he/she will drink a shot~

Easy game to play? NOT... When all of us are kinda high, we keep making mistakes... i tink the highest number called out was 56...

Even now, i'm still feeling the effects... Hahahaa~

AirForce School Visit~

Looking at the title, it looks like i'm visiting AFS rite? haha~
No lah~ they came to visit NYP... Quite alot of Commanders and some not so VIP ppl...
I was the carpark attendant... directing the big shots where to park their cars...
Overall the visit went quite smoothly... but i saw something that triggered my anger or jealousy perhaps?

There were like 4 to 5 females in the group out of which 2 were very small sized... even shorter den me i'm sure... What ever happened to the height requirements?? So i'm fuming now...

Well, the saying goes: "No big fish, small shrimps also can..." So i'm goin to be satisfied with what i have now...

Good News Bad News...

Remember i mentioned bout having some good news and bad news? yeah... i'll reveal it today... u decide for yourself which is good or bad news... :)

Story goes like this...
I applied to be a PE teacher in Primary School... And i was called to go for an interview... So i went, very prepared to answer any questions regarding PE teacher... While in the interview, i was told that my application to be a PE teacher was rejected and was onli selected to be a general teacher... So in my state of shock, the interview went super badly...

Few weeks later, i recieved a letter from MOE... i was damn scared to open it... but i had to... so i did... To my surprise, i was SELECTED~! and had to attend this appointment briefing on 20th september... So i applied for my leave, prepared the necessary documents and got myself ready for the briefing...

Nearing the date, my current supervisor dropped a bomb shell on me... she asked me for my opinion about being sent overseas to study... scholarship and all... but details are all NOT confirmed... Only if i'm interested, den she will talk to the director... She did mention that the process will take a while, coz the director will also have to monitor my progress and i'll be heavily loaded with work to prove my worth...

Now, here is the catch... MOE actually called the director up to enquire bout some stuffs bout me~ and the director told my supervisor bout it... So, was i offered a scholarship becoz i'm leaving, or izzit becoz i'm really improving?

Well... the tentative date for me to start work is on the 03.01.06... i'll try and ask for a deferment to a later date, hopefully to give myself and the scholarship more time and of coz my bonus~ hahaa~!

Just heard that another colleague is leaving... i guess this department is falling apart...

Sea Monkeys~ So Fragile...

I bought sea monkeys from pet mart yesterday... very cheap~ i tink bout 100++ for onli 3 bucks... but they are so damn fragile and weak... i brought a few to school today and after few hours, a few died liao~ so sad...

I'm sure the ones at home are also dying one by one... arrrgh~ maybe i should just bring a lobster to school instead... at least i noe they dun die easily~

Time to scout for a small tank~ haha~!

Some guy from MDA came to school to demo NWN mod that they did... Not bad actually, but his presentation skills are so so onli~ stuttering every now and den~ The best part is, the pc that he is using, (connected to the projector) keeps dying on him~ hahahaa~!

Okok, the demo is finally over, i better go back liao before my sis starved to death~

i have nv driven so much in my life before... started driving since 6am today and just stopped... haha~ mentally shag... Somemore the weather is so hot... made me so slpy while driving...

but thanks to today, i'm more confident when it comes to driving liao~ even attempted those basement carpark of westmall... Hahaha~ woooo...

Finally i got to drive a car today... Adrian keeps saying i drive very slow... but its not lor... i'm a safe driver wat... 80-90 km/h is quite normal ma... Hahaa~

Jus sent adrian back to camp... So i'm at my aunty's place now... rotting away... going to bukit timah plaza to buy a coporal rank thingy and another L-torch for adrian... This will be the 3rd L-torch i am buying for him i tink... dunno wat did he do with his other 2~ Hahaa...

Just finished a presentation of my game proposal together with some other staffs...
Seems like some of my proposals are chosen to pitch to the clients... we'll see where it goes from here... haha...

Lina presentated some of her ideas too... and her ideas are really quite good... creative... ideas dat i'll nv tink of... No wonder she is like one of THE games designer among us... Hahaa...

my supervisor ask me to tink of some games for some other projects too... but dunno if i got the time or not leh~ got some other things to rush also... hahaa~

Short People looked down on...

Well, I just emailed the army career recruitment officer and guess what? i'm not eligible for any vocations... not even the logistics...

And WHY? Its becoz i'm SHORT... What is the Singapore becoming? Short ppl are being looked down upon... literally... Yes, short ppl has disadvantages, but surely there are some advantages rite??

The army and the home team should be happy that someone is WILLING to join them... and yet they factor you out becoz u r short... Its not my fault that i'm short... Its not like i want to be short... and i'm not dat short wat... onli 1.5m...

Air Stewerdess... U may be SUPER pretty, polite, graceful and etc etc... But if u are short, u wun be called for interview at ALL...

So calling to all the SHORT ppl out there... Marry some tall guy/girl so that ur kids may inherit some "tall" genes or something... dun let ur kid be looked down upon...

Finally a project to call my own...
Its not something big, but at least i'm being useful for once...

I'm given the task to come up with some game proposals...
When i heard it i'm like "YES~! Finally i'm given something to do on my own~!" Hahahaa~!
I noe i'm mad to think that way, becoz the deadline is this coming friday... so i have to work doubly hard and fast... But hey, finally something that i will be doin on my own~!

When i ask my sup how come they so "kan4 de2 qi3 wo3", she laughed...
She told me its becoz the 2 main game designers are already working on something else and i'm the onli gamer left in the team...
Sad huh... Haha~ Nvm den~ I jus do my best and hope that they will like what i did~!

Lost Track of TIME..

This is one of the few days where i work until i lost my sense of time... Hahaha~

Went to ACS international's Fun Fair on Saturday... They are the one that took over my secondary school's compound... Irritating... The place still feels the same, was actually expecting alot of changes, but the basic layout are still there...

Walking around the place brings back so much memories of the old days...

Money Makes the World go Round....

Bi-Weekly Meeting~

It went so badly....

We are rotating the task of having to organise the meeting... and it was my turn...
So many Problems~!

1. The usual meetin venue was booked so i had to book another venue...

2. Venue decided but suddenly some big shot wanted that room that i booked... (arrgh)

3. Finally found another room, but the room is without projector, so i had to book a projector too...

4. Agenda drafted up, approved onli to end up having multiple updates... Hiaz... So many emails were sent out to change the agenda...

5. Decided to use my colleagues laptop for the presentation, but thanks to the laptop's weird resolution, the image were quite blur on the projection screen. Somemore its a new laptop, so some of the important programs are all missing...

6. During the meeting today, Projector all linked up, den suddenly power trip... The meeting already started lor... and i have to take minutes... so i dunno wat to do...

7. Luckily my colleague help me call the estate to come down to fix it... Yet they claim that its not the power trip... Well... they have to cover their ass mah... So dun blame them...

8. Anyway projector working liao, den can continue with the meeting and minutes taking, which i missed out a chunk of it during the start of the meeting... so i'm kinda dead liao lor...

9. Meeting finally over, and some stuffs are brought over to the next week due to the lack of time... Hiaz... Unlucky sial~

I feel that the organiser shouldn't take minutes, becoz if there are some problems that has to be solved, it should be the organiser fixing it... But how can he fix it when he is taking minutes???

Well... Have to start putting the notes together for the minutes... sure die lah~
