I'm not sure if you know this, but i was in a car accident in May 2011. Hospitalized and all. Now i'm supposedly recovering and doing well. But many things happened and now i'm not so sure about myself. Recently someone told me that i'm less serious now, more smiley. That's a good sign to most people, like i'm more jovial.

But i feel like i'm losing my steam. I'm not getting back on track. I'm having a hard time. I've got things I need to do. things that is to do with my school's appointment. But i'm not keeping up. I feel like i'm approaching a break down soon.

I dunno what to do. Gosh. For the first time i feel like turning to God or angels for help and guidance. I'm lost. Who can i turn to? I'm stuck and feeling shitty now. Yet my kids look up to me and I need to be strong for them. Arrrrgh.... I want to get back on track. But I feel like taking time off!!

Yes, it is indeed been a long time since i updated this blog. I didn't even think of updating it until another teacher suggested using blogspot to share resources~ So since now that i'm co-editor in terms of the other blog, i'll be trying to update this blog as well~

Anyway, the term has ended, the holidays started AND ended, the NEW term has started and this is the 3rd week of school. It has been SOOO busy for me. I've got new responsibilities and so it is a challenge for me mentally and physical.

Many Things Happened...

Its been more than a month since i last blogged. So much for promising to blog more frequently huh... Anyway, its been a busy month since everything happened... School term started and things slowly went downhill and uphill and downhill again... Like a roller coaster ride...

Its a dilemma...

1. Work hard for the kids, cca, school and myself but risk becoming a loner in the school like other teachers who are passionate in their work...

2. Slack a little here and there, appear to be of no use... but will be able to blend in with the other influential slackers in the school... grades and future? Nothing liao lor...

I decided to take on the first option. Become a loner? so be it...

As for classroom teaching, i'm doubting my abilities to influence and teach the kids... i feel like a loser most of the time and an incompetent teacher... First grade honour is a bunch of bullshit... In the end, its classroom teaching that counts and i feel that i suck at it so far...

Hiaz... What can i do? I really don't know man...

Rainbow was a dog that came into our life about a year ago. She was a cute little black n white chihuahua that looked nothing like her name.

At the start, I resented her presence because she was the limelight of the family and stole the attention from phoenix, a JRT. She was so adorable and loves to jump onto u once u sit on the couch. She would attempt to kiss u on ur mouth! KISS! not the usual doggy lick, but an actual muacks on the lips. If she could not do that, she would lie on u with her head on ur chest, waiting for u to look down for her to kiss u.
She loved to play with a bouncy toy ball and she would chase and jump all over the place to play fetch with u. She would play soccer with u too, dribbling the ball around you as you try to kick or take the ball.

Soon, phoenix and rainbow became best pals. Rainbow was the most welcoming dog known to me. she would start barking in a cute rhythm and tone when she sense us coming. when you open the door, she would run to you together with phoenix.

rainbow, unfortunately, kept her bad habits of rummaging dust bins for nonsense food. she was given the nickname of 'rubbish dog' for a period of time.

Rainbow passed away, 2 days ago... she was vomiting for a few days but yet, none of the family had any sense to send her to the vet. until she started vomiting blood and had blood in her poo... when I heard the news, I was filled with shock, anger and regret...

Angry at myself for not being there to educate my family of the importance of seeing a vet. angry at their lack of common sense. angry at the fact that rainbow ashes wasn't allowed into the hse for stupid reason. Regret that I didn't spend a lot of time with her and regret that there were not a lot of photos n videos to remember her by.

At this point, rainbow's ashes is at mount vernon animal crematorium. waiting to go home. I insist bringing her home to take a last look and to say our goodbyes before placing her at her final resting place.

Dear rainbow, please know that we love you and we really miss you.

I want to turn back time.....

Today's weather is exceptionally gd with great sun and humidity level so high that u would feel like slpin even before u step out of the house.

Yesterday, weather was scary. imagine this... Heart of the city, orchard road, flooded to waist level and destroyed goods in the basement shops of lucky plaza! I think singapore will probably sink soon...

Today, I went back to nie to attend this interview for a rotary club award. I was so unprepared for it and I think I blabbered for most part. it will be a surprise if I did get the prize.

I found out that u will need to attend interview for the awards, so no interview means no awards. which means I'm probably goin home empty handed for both ceremonies. It's nt very impt, but it would be nice. after all, I did work quite hard. but so did many others.

now I'm looking back to my nie days and I kinda regret nt doing more. I wasted most of my time doin nothing, esp during the hols. if I'm paid, I'll do so much more.

Enough said. my 199 journey has come to an end in the new interchange. blog again soon.

Came back from kelong on Friday night. Ah You kelong is not as nice as before le. We had to pay for the baits and ice. kinda irritating at some point. but the food was still good.

as for the catch, it could be better. total catch was 54 fishes, 7 sotong. it was so pathetic that we did not have the motivation to take any pic of the catch.

today, we goin pc show to hunt for my laptop. hopefully can find wat I wan. :)

Yesterday, my Hammies looked like they "did it" den all the squabbles started. Quite scary actually. So, we separated them. Finally hamgee can slp peacefully.

As for spending money, we bought a new Panasonic plasma tv, full HD. 1,099 bucks! cheap! but that means my bike gotta wait.

Oh yea, I passed my tp at long last! I'm so happy. 6 points Onli. Haha!

results are out! and I'm very happy with it. my hardwork paid off and I'm rewarded with a first class honours! so happy! my uncle decided to reward me... hee...

last but not the least, I'm so lookin forward to the kelong trip. although Beka n Andy are nt goin this time round, but i'll try to catch more fish and sotong for them!

It's been a long long time since i blogged!

Firstly, sorry for the lack of update! been feeling so busy and so lazy lately...

Practicum was over! Then it was back to NIE/NTU for 2 weeks for induction... Some of the induction programmes were interesting, others were either boring or totally useless...

We reported to our posting school on the 24th of May, last week of school for the primary pupils... I'm posted to Naval Base Primary School and I'm loving what i see there! The staff welfare and the school culture are really good and the pupils were quite well behaved. :)

Other than the VP and PE HOD, i'm the only PE trained teacher there! So many things to do there and the induction programme there has been very useful so far! Protected time begins on the 5th of June, till the 20th of June... And we already knew our protected time for the Sept and Dec holidays!! Hee!

Although the school is about 45 min journey by public transport and about 25 to 30 min by car, I stopped complaining the distance on the 2nd day of school and started embracing reality! Haha! This distance encouraged me to complete my bike lessons and get my bike license so that i can get a bike for myself! I know it's dangerous to ride a bike, but the route that i'm taking is quite bike and bicycle friendly~ (Mandai Road)... :)

My dearie bought us hamsters!! one male and one female~ We named it Hambee and Hamgee... When together, they are either called Ham Ham or Hammies! They are SO CUTE! My only worry is pregnancy! Time to prepare an additional cage to separate the male and females after the first lot! So far, so good~ Haha!! :) Here's the link to their photo album!

Back to School

its 2nd day of school already... its been fun so far... exhaustion at this point is physical and not mental, YET...

softball is really tiring and training for IVP frisbee is even more tiring.. Best thing is that softball is on mon, wed, fri and frisbee is on tues, thurs... so i get tired EVERY weekday... :)

i'm finally feeling like a human now... waking up early, feeling the body aching... better than the holidays where my body feels lethargic most of the time... feels good to be human... Haha!

dearie is on reservist and so he wun be back till thurs... outfield... kinda miss his irritating-ness now... on a good side, i get to use the car for this week... next week onwards, i may have to switch back to public transport already... :(

okay... i better slp soon... tml's class is at 8.30am~!

To begin the first post of the new year, let me first apologize for my short updates for the previous posts... i have been very lazy lately and i shall attribute it to the weather and the weird slping routines... hahaa! *cough*

Anyway, this new year began on a slow note... we were at mount faber trying to catch a good view of the fireworks, but this year's fireworks have been quite disappointing... it was so low that our view were blocked by the trees even thou we were at the peak... However, the new year has arrived and i have spent the beginning hours with my dearests... my dearest boyfriend and my dearest sister... what more can i wish for?

My new year resolutions? None... i realised that i can't keep to my resolutions so i decided not to make any... if i'm forced to have resolutions for year 2010, i would probably want to "work hard, play hard, and save hard for this year..." Hahahaa!! These are not really measurable or quantifiable, so even if i didn't succeed... who knows? :)

Alrighty... lets enjoy the rest of the holidays while it lasts... :)

Sorry for my absence from this blog~ I have been too lazy to blog...

So many things came and went... EIE camp, SOA camp... Genting trip... And upcoming "grandtour" of south msia~

SOA camp was really "educational" its the type of camp that is actually mostly workshops~ i didn't expect it to be like that, but it was still fun~ made many friends both locals and foreigners~! Became a tour guide for our overseas friends! Went many places that i most prob wouldn't go anyway... So overall, it was GOOD~!

Genting trip was quite boring but still enjoyable because of the weather...

Upcoming grand tour consist of KL, Pontian, shopping, kota tinggi and etc etc... :)

Car's back...

We collected the car on Sat, finally its all done up... although the workmanship could be better, but we cannot complain because of the price... We paid about $1400 in total and there are still some minor problems.... Going to fix them on this coming sat... If not for the accident, we would have been $1400 richer... But i guess its a good thing, at least we have our aircon back...

Went fishing after sooooo long, the fishes are mostly gone, thanks to baiters and netters... its really irritating actually... what to do?

As for myself... nothing exciting happened after our class gathering... was so bored that i actually attended a speak good english workshop for parents... can't say that it's useful, but it was quite interesting, until it became a complain session for the parents...

Was supposed to go for a trip on 23dec, but nik's been quite hesitant about it... plus we are not sure if he will be free in the first place... its super irritating lah~ Hiaz...

Am i so forgettable? Why is it that i have made myself so darn clear that i am interested in the outing! yet things have been planned and i'm totally forgotten... i didn't know bout it until i asked... now that i know its on, i dunno if i wanna go or not... i think i'll feel stupid, knowing that perhaps it was intentional to forget me, and i still turn up... hiaz... all the stupid things...

Been really easily irritated nowadays...

Class Outing~

Today's outing was FUN~

Went to this North Indian Restaurant @ ECP (big splash side) and had their buffet... food was quite nice, atmosphere not bad, price quite good since we were able to use the 1-for-1 promotion...

After that, we went for bowling at Kallang... Everyone played well and had FUN! Although i felt that i could have done alot better... hahahaa!

Cleaned up our room quite a bit, jus this semester's worth of work and notes remaining to clear up... After that, the room should be back to the original "neatness" before the exams... But i'm so lazy to start on that... reminds me of how badly i might have done this semester... :(

As for fishing? haven't started on it yet... The places that we go for fishing is more accessible with cars i guess... And i hate to do these stuffs alone... So have to wait till nik is free to go with me...

Our swift GTI? Still in the workshop... they have started working on it... Hopefully it will be ready by this saturday... Will be spending quite a bit of money on it, but its our choice....

As for other programs? i have a camp coming up on the 7dec... RTT most prob on the 17dec... Bike TP most prob on the 7Jan... Hopefully it will be earlier than that...

Started reading novels again... quite fun actually, "living" the lives of the characters in the book... disappearing into fantasy world while i still have the time... I can't believe that i "forgot" about reading... been losing out quite a bit... perhaps i'll be able to brush up on my english while i'm at it... :)

Facebook has become kind off boring now... Its like routine work, checking up on ppl's daily anecdotes, playing mindless games... but it seems like other than facebook, i do not have an online life... Nik can spend hours in front of the computer... surfing sites and forums... I don't even have a favourite website or forum to visit... such a hassle... :(

Anyway, i'm looking forward to the camp... wonders what will it be like...

Car's in the workshop... fixing it up... may cost up to 1k, but hopefully will be much less than that...

Exam's over... Paper was a b***h... but well, my own fault for not studying well enough... That's said, its my lass paper for the whole 4 years... next sem will start in bout 6 weeks time... that sem will last 6 weeks, then its attachment for 10 weeks... quite scary actually... been starting to doubt myself quite a lot lately...

Results will be out tentative on christmas eve... kinda scary as i know this sem's result will not be as good as before...

For the next few weeks, camps... fishing... more fishing... bike practice... more slacking... food... fun... boredom... facebook... nik... more fun... more boredom... ETC.... hahhahahahaa!!

Guess what? After renewing road tax and insurance, the car may have to be scrapped... Why? because nik got into an accident and the front part, according to him, is totally destroyed...

Although i am very glad that nothing happened to nik, but i'm quite upset too... i have always told him to drive carefully and see further ahead... but his driving has been reckless... this type of accident is expected, although his luck is really quite bad... he is the last car, meaning no one bumped into him, so he got no one to claim from... NCD is not an issue, coz its only 10%... but its the fact that our car cannot be salvaged... (maybe)

Need to wait and know more... Hiaz... I'm really really upset right now... How to study? Want to talk to someone about this but nobody around... Dunno lah...

DO NOT park there anymore...

Wilson has raised the parking rates for the carpark and it has become ridiculous...
Usually it is 3.50 per entry on weekdays after 5pm... NOw? It is 3.50 for the first 3 hours and subsequently, 1.50 per half hour... Daylight robbery...

Parked there so many times before and took it for granted that nothing has changed... The board did, except that it DID NOT LOOK like it has changed any bit... So DISCREETLY... I wonder how many other ppl suffered the same shock as we did...

I have just completed my last assignment for this semester.. After today, i can officially concentrate on my exam already... provided i dun suddenly turn off lor~ I have a very bad habit... i tend to switch off for at least 1 day after completing an assignment... but i have to tell myself that i have no time for that already...

My exam is on the 19th of November... and after that, its HOLIDAYS!!! Our class is going for paintball right after the paper... So exciting! Can't wait... Love paintball man~ Very fun~!

I'm already planning for my holidays already... and that's not good~ coz they are DISTRACTIONS~! Better concentrate... Can't jeopardize my grades for fun man~!

Alright, better slp now... still gotta go visit my sis in alexander tml... Oh... One more thing... It's FRIDAY THE 13TH~ if anyone's interested...

Firstly, congratulate Nik on his new job! He is working with this company called Animagine where he will work with kids on animation projects.. One of the big one most of us will be familiar with is the Total Defence Day's N.Emation... However, this new job comes with time restriction... He will start work at bout 7am and end about 7pm usually... Then, when the crunch time sets in for the schools to produce clips for the competition, then he might have to work till as late as 3am plus plus...

Pros and Cons lah... I'll be more hardworking during the time when he is working... but when i have to work overnight for my assignments, i will feel super guilty because i wun be able to spend time with him when he is off work! So like I said, pros and cons lor.... Hiaz... I need to work on my time management and brush away my laziness...

As for the topic, yesterday i drove to school, then pick him up during the peak hours... the jam caused me to feel the ache in my calf till today and the motion sickness i had yesterday... It was really quite bad... So i told nik to drive instead and i'll get my motion sickness from the train and bus rides instead... Either way, i'll get it... So might as well do it the less stressful way... No worries about finding free carpark, other irritating and reckless drivers, pedestrians that decide to dash across the road suddenly and accidents that will cause long jams and therefore will be late for class... AND MORE...

Anyway, i better start working... not enough time for my assignments and exams already!!!

Sleeping Hours...

Seems like my sleeping hours have changed again... I have been sleeping at weird hours and waking up at noon on weekends and normal hours on weekday... Somehow my body can tune to the days too! Hahaa~ Its 3.18am now and i haven sleep yet~ Best part? i got to be up by 6am to send nik to work and my class starts at 9am... I was supposed to prepare some stuffs for that class... but i really didn't have the time and energy now... Hiaz...

At least 1 major assignment is completed by today~ it was supposed to be due on last friday, but time was extended... lucky for us because come to think of it now, my work seemed a little tad shitty before... Now, it looked so much better... Hopefully that's wat the lecturer wants~

I think my grades will definitely suffer this semester~ :(
What can i do? blame myself for slacking so much lorz...

Guess who did i meet today?

The local actor turned director Huang Yiliang... His movie was not picked up and now, he have to sell his movie on dvd... So as i was saying... Met him today at AMK hub's carpark... He was selling his dvd there... Yes, at the carpark... I was initially shocked when he approached us... But felt kinda sad for him afterwards... Anyway, below is what the newspapers are saying about him...

Director's broken dream (TNP, 15/10/09)

HE followed his aspirations. But now, he says he's in debt.

Local actor Huang Yiliang had high hopes for his directorial debut Autumn In Winter.

The movie is about an emotionally unstable woman, played by model Sheila Sim, who rents out rooms in her home to strangers and then refuses to let them leave.

The cast also includes Bernard Tan, Phyllis Quek and Nat Ho.

But with no local movie distributors picking it up for a public screening here, Yiliang has now resorted to releasing the movie on DVD. He even goes to video stores promoting the movie.

Yiliang told The New Paper: 'Maybe the film is a bit too artistic, and distributors are not confident that movie-goers would watch it.' Yiliang said it would've been easier for him to make and sell a funny movie. But, he added: 'If I make a comedy, people will say I'm copying Jack Neo.'

Yiliang's situation seems to perpetuate the notion that only Jack's movies can score at the box office. Yet, critics lambast his work.

On the opposite end, Eric Khoo's movies have artistic acclaim, but fail to really draw in the masses.

Yes... I just finished another assignment... Rushed it out since yesterday 5pm... No sleep, No rest except for dinner break... Finally its done... Not the best work, but considered okay ba~ :)

Now's the time to catch some sleep before my lesson at 3.30 later... gotta go hand in my assignment at 3pm too... Haha!

Whats next? Micro teaching for math... Need to think of non-examples and prepare my slides properly.... seems like a lot of work... hopefully i'll finish in good time on thurs, then i can last till my presentation at 4pm...

Oh, we went for the tetanus jab yesterday... $30... but can last 5 years... gotta take it coz our fishing hooks seems a little rusty... so dun wanna take the risk... nik got poked by some weird metal piece from a $1000 fly rod... seems quite deep the cut... so scary... but now the rod dunno how... may have to ship to USA to fix... hiaz... Uncle billy very generous ar! Dare to lend so expensive rod to us... Now we feel that bad lah~ dunno how the think broke also~ :(

OMG... i'm feeling the effects of slacking too much now... I've slacked a lot during the recess week and now i have to rush like a mad woman to get my assignments done...

I've spent saturday night and sunday rushing my lesson plan... finally i've finished it and handed it in... What's next? Test construction assignment for math and math micro teaching....

So many stuffs to do... slacked too much...

Canal Fishing, week 6!

Its been 6 weeks since we started fly fishing at nee soon... We arrived at 9am, which was slightly later than usual... But its a good day! There wasn't many people around so we practically had the whole place to ourselves. It was quite boring at the start, no fishes at all... We were so bored that nik started taking photos...

After about an hour or so, melvin (the guy squatting down) showed us the good spot to fish... billy (the guy with the cap) came shortly after... We fished for a while and started striking fishes! Although we fought with the fishes many times, we only managed to hook up one each. I almost caught another one, but the line broke... So sad...

As usual, my dearie was the first to catch one... Then its my turn~! It is my first time using a fly fishing rod, which is very different from the spinning rod... But both fishes were caught by our original spinning rod... So weird...

Anyway, we practiced catch and release, so both fishes were unharmed when released back into the canal... Hopefully it will still be there when we go back next week.

(Btw, we went back after 3 days and its gone already... all kena TABAO... Hiaz...)

Irritating Math Quiz

This is one of the worst test ever... The phrasing of the questions is just so irritating. I spent so much time just trying to understand the question.. Its not that i dunno how to do lor... I dun have time to work out the questions lor... And i really need to write smaller? There isn't any space at all... If liddat, i rather they let us do the test using fullscape paper or something... Should have asked if i can use pencil to do the test or not... Den don't have to keep using corrective tape! Arrgh...

As for another irritating part, the lecturer didn't need us to separate the tables for the test. So the person sitting beside me was shifting around the table so much, trying to use her body to cover her work away from me... dunno if that's her writing style thou, but it gets really irritating when it seems like she was trying to cover more and more of her paper with her body. Why so doubtful? Hiaz... I know i made a mistake for being happy about not having to shift tables but its just for fun... So doubtful..... Arrghh...

Haiz... Hopefully working marks are allocated for it lor... Hiaz... Damn stupid man~! Feels so stupid lor! ARrgh~~!! Anyway, its over... not going to be bothered by it anymore...

12 hours of fishing...

No wonder i have no time~ spent 12 hours fishing today!!

The day began at 6.30am at nee soon canal near springleaf... we were there just before day break to try and "catch" the best time for fishing, but no luck... We lost ALL our flies... so started using lures instead... but still no luck... Nik's friend came along and gave us some flies to play with... and Nik managed to catch a small fish!! After 4 saturdays, finally we caught something... Its a "Marbled Goby" also known as Soon Hock... But its small lah, size of my palm maybe... Anyway, we practice catch and release, so we released the fish after taking photos~ Haha!

Bout 10am, we left the place for some breakfast as it started raining... From there, we went to lentor area (reservoir) to fish... there, nik caught his second fish! Peacock Bass... Also tiny lah~ No luck for the rest of us, especially me...

Went to another place, lower pierce reservoir... Tried a little... Everyone caught some fishes except us... We left after a while coz it started raining again! Arrgh~ We decided to go changi for nasi lemak and top up some supplies for kelong fishing...

By about 4pm, we decided to go home le... tired liaoz... We took jalan kayu and somehow, we decided to go fishing at the lower seletar reservior instead~! Tried for about 90 min den go my aunt's house le... All in all, its aobut 12 hours, inclusive of travelling and makan... HAhaa!! Shag...

Today just cleared a major presentation for 1 of my module... i'm very happy that its out of the way already! The presentation went well, no major hiccups, SO... Good lor~! I'm quite lucky because i'm blessed with good team mates. We all did good amount of research and made the presentation such a successful one~!

Next up would be the task cards and the lesson plans for this coming monday... after rushing for the presentation, now feel a little nua already... no mood liaoz... just wanna rest... but also afraid that if i rest too much, my engine will stall liao~ HOW HOW HOW???

Suddenly decide to initiate a chat with a friend that i haven't met for like a year... So many things changed for him... For the better of course... He got married, have a two-month old baby now, stopped smoking, own a car, stable job... What else does he need? Nothing!! Its the best when u are happy in your little happy family! Haha! Wow...

I must catch up with all my friends if possible... If so many things can happen in 1 year, then for my friends that i lost touch for years.... what will become of them now? I'm lost for words...

I gave my 100%... no... more that 100% effort during the games... i ran like crazy, i marked my opponent like crazy... but no one acknowledged that effort... when things go wrong, everyone gets frustrated... but please consider yourself before shooting everyone down... yes, you scored goals... but you also allowed your opponent to score goals too... at least i'm about 2 metres away from my opponent when that happened... but you are easily 5 metres away when u allowed your opponent to score... please do not say that i did not sprint hard enough... i sprinted so darn hard, but not just hard enough to please you all... so what if i gave up? considering that i pointed out a FACT and yet got shot down for it, den there is no point in me being there... me being there will just spoil everyone's mood...

Sorry for being me... but that's just me... anyway, it was fun playing with you guys until that happened... its not just about me... no one even bothered asking why our team captain (plus manager) were sitting in the stands after a while... did you even notice? hiaz... i dunno wat to say anymore...

Assignments~! Bane of my life~! Whatever that means~ I just dislike doing assignments... So many assignments coming up and i'm feeling the stress already~ But i'm still slacking... I need my life too~! ARRGH~ Whatever... When the time comes, it comes... And if i do not wake up by then, too bad for me then... Hiaz...

Been trying out fly fishing at the river near nee soon area... no live baits~ only lures and flys... quite fun, except we didn't have much luck at all... We'll see how it goes and will update on the catch reports (if any). Haha~!

Training has been really tiring... The effect of my 3 month disappearance from training and exercise is seeping into my body... My sprints are slow to begin, stamina is down, throws and catches are inaccurate and pretty weak, game awareness also not that good already... Need more practice, but time is running short... SUniG is just round the corner, and our team is barely ready for the competition...

Stupid DRIVERS! @#$@%!$# Its really irritating when drivers do not value other people's life like how they value theirs.. If they dun care about their life, please drive down to genting den roll down the mountain or something... But please do not endanger other people's life by not checking blindspots, signalling very late or not signalling at all, doing illegal u-turns, overtaking unneccesarily, swerving from lane to lanes and other stupid driving acts... Its really dangerous and irritating~! ARRGH~

First of all, sorry for the 2 weeks disappearance from blogger.com! I was extremely busy, slacking before the semester starts and followed by a not so hectic 1st week of school... No excuses for not blogging as you can see... I'm just simply being the lazy me lah~

Anyway, many things happened since i last blogged... Hmmm where to begin... Let's just start from where i left off, in order of events ba~ :)

Teaching Practice: Everything ended quite well, good comments from my CT although his written ones were quite different from his verbal comments. "Acceptable" for all areas only...

Night Cycling (01/08-02/08): We (me, nik, beka, andy) rented our bicycles at east coast park at 8pm, the one with the coin lockers. And we journeyed from east coast park, to tanah merah (expo), to tampines mall where we had our macdonald supper. We continued to changi village where we bought some fishing stuffs and that was already 6am. We decided to head back to ECP so that we can return the bikes by 9am... Cycled along changi beach and THROUGH the Osim Triathalon where we had to PUSH our bikes through the beach... Anyway, we returned our bikes at 9.30am and drove thru macdonalds for their breakfast~! Oh yeah, one important detail, we had a jack russell (phoenix) and a chihuahua (rainbow) with us all this while~!

MacRitchie Recce: To help samantha with the planning of her month-niversary, i went to the reservoir with her on 08/08 (sat) morning. We started at Venus Drive entrance and walked towards the Tree Top walk, followed by Jelutong Tower and finally a LONG walk on Rifle Range Link before entering the "Kampong Trail" towards Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. We gave up when we reached the bukit timah road area... Hahaa! The walk was tiring and the weather was hot and humid, but we had fun taking silly photos and getting chased by monkeys~ Although the couple did not do the trail in the end, the experience was still fun for me~!

Pond Fishing: My friend's company had this Night Fishing Competition at Pasir Ris Pond also on 08/08. Nik, me, beka and andy were participating in the event... We only caught 2 fishes for the full 3 hours... Very pathetic because other participants went home within minimum 3 fishes, and all above 1.5 kg... Our fishes weighed at 0.95 and 2.02kg... Can't even get consolation prize lorz... My aunt and uncle came down to support us, and brought with them some luck~! We caught those fishes after their arrival lor~ Pond fishing is a different experience from fishing at kelong or reservoirs, its fun but very expensive... Think we will do that again some day...

Night Safari: The night before my semester starts, the four of us decided to visit the night safari~ Somehow, nik's mom, sis and her bf decided to join us too~ So its 7 of us in the end... We went their mainly because of the promotion on straits time (4th aug's straits time life - hope the date is correct). Its 1 for 1 ticket not inclusive of tram rides... Quite a good deal, we saved on average, 11 bucks per person~! Since we arrived quite early (7pm) we were able to catch the first animal show and didn't have to queue that long... After that, we walked ALL the trails and ended with the tram ride... It was really fun and interesting~ Most of the animals were awake, unlike my previous experience~ :)

Schoooooool : It has been quite a hectic 2 weeks since the sem started... many assignments piling up, project meetings, readings, training etc... Quite tiring mentally and physically man... all i can say is that i'm not ready to start, but i have to~!~!

I think that is all for now ba... more updates next time... hopefully it will not be another 2 weeks before i blog again~ :P

Feeling quite demoralised with my observation feedback... Its mostly "acceptable" and a few "good" for both pe and math... No "excellent" at all... I'm not aiming high, but at least dun make me feel so sucky lah~ I know this is just a "pass" or "fail" grade only and i definitely passed already... But still............

I can kiss goodbye to my honors if this is what i get from my observations... Hiaz... maybe next sem dun need to work so hard for my grades liao... GPA above 4.5 also no use if the practicum grades are sucky... Might as well just relax in school and settle for 2nd lower class can liao...

Anyway, still have 2 more observations... 1 today, 1 tomorrow... Surely will get sucky feedback again... I'm starting to doubt my abilities as a teacher... Can i make it? Can i be a good teacher?

TGIF~!~! This means 1 more week to go~!! Hahahaa!!

I must admit, this TP1 has help me gain a lot of experience in terms of teaching, time management and many more... I've learnt to avoid trouble by keep unneccessary comments to myself. At least i hoped that i have avoided trouble. :)

Out of the 4 observations remaining, i'm down to 2 more~ This weekend, i'll have to work hard to complete my reflections as well as my lesson plans for next week.

As for unhappiness at work? Nothing much lah~ Quite happy here. Actually, come to think of it, there is one thing... I'm teaching frisbee to P4s and i've been teaching them one set of rules... BUT... because of their inter-class games, i have to change the rules to another set that does not make sense at all... The teacher in charge has his ideals, but i just can't make myself agree with it... He said that tapping the disc down is dangerous and therefore the pupils cannot intercept the disc unless they catch it properly... I dunno lah... Now i'm left with 1 period to teach the new rules before their inter-class games... BEST THING? I DO NOT HAVE THE RULES!!! So how i know how to teach them?? ARRGH~

I was just observing that teacher's class. They are able to play this new rules very well and this does not come in 1 period only. Obviously they have played this version many times, which is an unfair advantage over other class. I feel like i "dui bu chi" my class... if u know what i mean... Hiaz...

How? Tell me how???

Car Siao Liao!!!

Just spent another $40 to tow the car and $40 to fix the problem... Something cropped up in the engine and the car couldn't start at all... I dunno what is the problem but the problem existed for quite some time already... most of the time, the car would feel like its choking and sometimes, the car would not want to start~ But we were still able to drive it around... until yesterday...

Now... After spending a day at the workshop, its okay le... Quite smooth the ride... Next thing to fix is the air con unit... Hopefully the workshop finds the spare parts that we bought and left at their place... Apparently, they said they threw it away... (I really wonder...)

Nik's mom has been chasing us to buy another car and sell this one away... But we really love this car and unless it is beyond repair, i think we will stick to this car...

My sup came to the school today to observe my lesson... It is quite sad because the class she chose to observe is one of the more notorious case under my care... It is very difficult to teach that class... I really want to say how notorious the class is, challenging authority, disruptive and more... But i cannot divulge too much information in case my blog get stumbled upon and i will get sued... Haha~

But my sup said that the lesson was not too bad lah... she had some questions like why i am not strict enough on them but what i told her... "No use..." Hahahaa! She gave me some great ideas when teaching and i realised that i'm considered to be really lousy in teaching... Need to put more thoughts into my lesson plan!!

As for why 4 more to go? My CT haven observe me yet... So i still have 4 more formal observations... hopefully it will not go as bad as this one... Anyway, this teaching practice is only a pass or fail grade... if you can plan and execute and can manage the class, confirm pass already...

I'm only worried about the 10 week's teaching practice.... that one sure die coz got grades... Hiaz... Ok lah, tired liaoz...

Kelong trip was FUN~!

My aunty and uncle were such good sport~! No complaints about sleeping area, cleaniness, food, temperature of bathing water and gross-ness of baiting! No complaints at all (i think?) Hahahaa!!

Altogether, we caught over 300 fishes and 5 sotongs! those 300 fishes were quite small but still tasty... But we lost many hooks, sinkers and baits... So sad... Not pro enough lah~

Hopefully the nov/dec trip will be more fruitful~!

Die lah~ I've been slacking too much... Super behind time for my reflections le... So far i've only written reflection for 1 day! Still got 7 more days to go!! Just finished my unit plan for 3 levels... Still got 7 PE lesson plans and 5 Math lesson plans for next week... So gonna die already!! Dunno how man... Plus, after conducting the lesson, i still got to do my reflection for them! No template to follow! Super Hiazzzzz.....

Next week onwards, no more naruto liao lorz... Nik's very supportive too! He will pick me up from school and send me there whenever he can... But he ar... always ask me... "You got alot of work meh? What work you've got to do? LP very easy one mah..." He just doesn't understand the amount of work we have to do... Aiyoh...

My mood is even worse whenever i think about the amount of work i will have to do when the semester starts... 6 modules! out of which, NONE is Sports!!! So irritating... WORDS, Projects, Lesson Plans, Tests, Theories... ARRGH~!

I got to go slp liao lah... tml still have ALOT of work to do...

Teaching practice is starting soon... this coming monday to be exact... I'm posted to a high achievement neighbourhood school and i'll be going in the afternoon session... I really wonder if all the good things i heard about the school is true... only one way to find out~! Go there and experience it...

I only heard about my confirmed posting yesterday afternoon... apparently, they couldn't decide which session to post me to... haha! I didn't even have to attend any meetings prior to school reopening! i guess they were very busy with the H1N1 virus thing and the 7-day leave of absence thing...

Anyway, the news stated that if you returned from affected countries on or after 22nd of july, you are required to stay home for 7 days before returning to school... The list of affected areas are Australia, Argentina, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America.

When i saw the news, i was worried... coz i was in malaysia and i didn't know if msia is one of the affected countries... They sent out the news, but there was no mention of the countries involved... luckily, our teacher's portal has the announcement too... and they mentioned the countries...

SO.... I was not from an affected country, and therefore, i am starting school on time! 12.30pm...

No more SIMS... No more Criminal Minds... Here come Unit Plans, Reflections, Lesson Plans and more...

Been trying really hard to go exercise... Suppose to play badminton for the past week but the courts around our area are under some kind of renovation and the CC's one is always booked... And nik has been sleeping in... even now he is still sleeping... was supposed to play at 2pm... hahaa!

Was supposed to go on this learning overseas trip with uncle gary to learn how to take charge of these types of trips... however, because of my upcoming teaching practice, i'm unable to go~ Which is sad of course... even though the pay is very little, about $50 a day, but its the experience that counts... pluz, food and accomodation are included~! Beka and Andy went... Port Dickson Eagle Ranch~ Should be quite cool ba~!

Met up with augustine from Fishingaffairs.com and learnt quite a lot from him. He was helping us prepare the equipments required for our kelong trip and we spent another 50 bucks at the tackle shop... Next time need to organise fishing events, he is the guy to go to!

Our kelong trip is from 22nd june to the 24th june... Best part? I'm supposed to keep that week free to attend meetings (if there are) at the school i'm posted to... totally lost track of the days man! But the trip's already booked, so i can't do anything about that... i can only hope that the meetings are scheduled on thurs or friday lor~ :)

Recently installed The Sims 3 and i've been playing it ever since... Almost 10 hours of Sims per day! This is super unhealthy man!

From creating the Sim character, to moving into a new home...
From buying new furnitures to remodelling the house...
From working 5 days a week to getting promoted and now working only 3 days a week...
From friendly introduction, to holding hands, to kissing, to making out, to massaging, to WooHoo-ing and trying for a baby...
From making new friends, to getting married and having a baby...
Now? In the process of juggling 3 characters and making sure that their needs are met!

ADDICTIVE is the word for games like this... However, there will be a point where i decided i have enough and have to stop! SAVE and QUIT~ There's too many ppl to handle, too many needs met.. I think the next SIMS game really needs a "task action reposition function" where i can shift the queued actions around so that i do not have to cancel everything and requeuing them again! Its really irritating!!

Now that i have recovered my strength, it's time to continue with the sims! Hahaa!!

Hope i get a chance to WooHoo in other places...

Met up with some secondary school friends today! Jeetha and Edwin~! Edwin came to singapore for a short holiday and to help his sister move house, so we took the opportunity to meet up! We went to jeetha's dad's restaurant at novena called Fiesta Brasilia...

This restaurant was the first brazilian restaurant in singapore originally located at sixth avenue, but now, it is relocated to United Square at Novena... Its a humble little restaurant with brazilian staffs and chefs~ nearing closing time, the staffs will start playing their brazilian music~! Really cool atmosphere... Buffet, $38++~! Okay, enough with the publicity~!

We really had a great time, talking about the old days, our current "affairs", the gap between then and now... Almost forgot to take pictures for remembrance~! Haha! I tried to upload the photos here, but somehow, it is not showing... nevermind ba~! next time then~!

Wakeboarding~

Wakeboarding is really fun and really really really TIRING~!~! My whole body is aching after our wakeboarding session yesterday~ Especially in the arms, shoulders, back and waist area... My ankle injury was aggravated because of the turning action required when you try to change direction of the board... Knees aren't doing well too... Haha! Need to strengthen them before the next session~!

What i really love about this session was the company and the weather~ The weather was great, not too hot, not too cold, really perfect for wakeboarding~ The water was VERY SALTY though... swallowed quite a mouthful especially when i crashed into the water face first~! I had the honor of having rachel and khor kai on this trip~ rachel, quite a beginner managed to ride out of the wave heel-side! great accomplishment! as for khor kai, she is a pro lah~! at least to us, she could hold the handle with one hand, ride out with one hand, and she rides in and out of the water with much ease!! should have seen her, SO COOL~! haha~!

As for me, i was able to ride out across 1 wave toe-side, and back in (and out again) across 2 waves heel-side! I finally crashed trying to ride back into the center toe-side... To me, i have jus hit another milestone in wakeboarding~! Next one, i'm going to try to jump the waves~! i dunno how to describe all that has happened because i dunno the terms wakeboarders use~ But i'm sure you guys know what i'm talking about and can imagine what it looks like ba~!

We took some videos and photos, will upload them soon!! Jus stick around~! :) Oh, one more thing, the company we went for is Punggol Sea Sports Accessories. The boat was quite old, but the driver is really experienced! He knows how to requlate the speed to suit our needs and situation~ So i think for $85/h, it is really worth it~!

Was watching live streaming of E3, yesterday and now... I realised suddenly that i've really lost touch with the gaming world... It seems like gaming has evolved quite a bit and i'm still stuck in the yester-years! Microsoft's Xbox 360 seems really revolutionary with the new controller-less environment! Nintendo seems a little weak and boring during the conference but there are some fantastic games for the Nintendo DS~ and as for Sony? I'm still waiting for the conference to start... Haha!! Thanks to gamespot we are able to view the conference even if we are not physically there! Cool.....

I was wondering what can i blog about today since i did not do anything significant for the past few days... but i remembered suddenly that my results are out! I'm very happy with my results~ it was better than expected... so i'm glad~ I expected a C for my math but i got a full grade up. So quite lucky le ba...

Other that my results, really nothing to blog about liao... so boring my holidays! I spent my days slacking, watching online tv, reading several pages from different books... Went to the library quite often to borrow books of different interests~ But that is really about all...

Wanted to go on a boat fishing trip, but nik, andy and beka were quite skeptical about it... saying things like, it will be boring.... dunno if we would be able to catch anything... and all these stuffs... so i gave up on the idea...

Whats coming up then? Wakeboarding! This coming monday, 4 gals, 1 instructor, 1 boat, the sun, the water and the wakeboard~! cool..... Haha! Hope my knees can hold up! :)

Sucky Tuesday...

Today, we woke up earlier then usual so that i can go for my circuit revision... I took the worst bike and yet it became very good to ride! But accident still happened... At the emergency brake course, i braked too hard, dropped my bike and in attempt to avoid the falling bike, i jumped off and landed on what i thought was concrete painted yellow... BUT... It was soft sponge instead and guess what? My left ankle got sprained again... LEFT side... The foot that has to support the bike and place on the floor everytime we stopped... The foot used to change gear... The foot that got sprained... How unlucky... Luckily my dearie was still waiting for me and i brought my sports tape along... So i was able to tape my ankle and return to practice... Circuit should not be a problem i guess...

So after that, we went AMK blk 724 for lunch and had wanton noodle and char kuay teow... Food was great, but good enough... We went to the library to get some books and nik drove me to the next location...

Next up, napfa testing... The students came late, so the testing started late... Which also meant that we ended late... by almost 45 minutes! And our car had some little problems and nik wasn't able to pick my up on time too... White smoke was coming out of the exhaust for a period of time and oil was leaking... According to nik, it was probably because he filled the engine oil too full, thus causing overflow... But anyway that was ok already...

Next, me and nik quarrelled... Because of some device in the car... We were supposed to put water only, but he wanted to try and include some baking soda as it was stated online that it would increase performance... We agreed earlier that we would not add anything for this full (fuel) tank so that we have something to compare too when we add the baking soda... But suddenly, he went ahead and added it anyway... His reasoning was, no engine oil, so how to track performance (mileage)?

Conversation:
Me: You added baking soda right?
Nik: Yeah, a bit only (defensively)
Me: I thought we decided not to put?
Nik: A bit only...
Me: But liddat how to see the performance?
Nik: No engine oil (blah blah)
Me: But still...

Anyway, i know i was being irritating, but i seriously do not understand a guy's mentality... I'm sure he do not understand me also... And i'm starting to wonder................. Hiaz....

I already apologized, sent an sms to him (i know, not sincere.. but i jus can't bear his attitude in my state of pain..) Anyway, my ankle is really painful now... I dunno if i can take the road revision tml and the test on the day after tml... Hopefully it recovers soon... As for nik, he have not asked me once about my ankle since we reached home... Maybe he is just tired and forgotten about it... :(

Buy clothes, accessories and rides to increase your "Glam-ness" Join up with other sisters to make your "House" more powerful... Hmmm... Thats what the game is all about...

I installed the app becoz my sis needs more ppl in her house and so i did... and in 3 days, i'm already level 19... This either means i'm good, or i'm super bo liao... I think its becoz i'm super duper bo liao... keep playing and playing... kinda wasting my time away... but then again, i dun have the mood for anything else! :)

Prison Break finally ended... But why muz the ending be so sucky?!?!

Everything turns out okay... Scyllar was given to the UN, the people getting the freedom they fought so hard for, the bad guys DIED... After everything that Michael Scofield did, he DIED too... Died due to his sickness after fighting SO HARD to free his friends and family.... OMG... I know that happy ending is so cliche, but after 4 seasons, i think the audience deserve an happy ending!!!!! Arrgh... I totally did not expect this ending at all~! OMFreakingG!!! Alrights, enough rantings for now. Even nik is laughing at me liao...

Anyway.... APPLAUSE for the writers, directors, producers, actors and all the crew that worked on the show! GOOD JOB!

I have two TPs in this two months... One is Traffic Police test, another is Teaching Practice... Both equally scary...

I went for my practice, but in the circuit, i dropped my bike three times!!! u-turn, crank course and figure 8... once each... like sai lah~ i also dunno why, lack of practice ba... plus my weak knees giving me problems... Especially my right knee, since it will be bent for long periods of time, and the only time it can touch the floor is at the emergency brake course... (we can only put our left leg down...) So its damn stressful for my knee to remain in the bend position... With the throbbing pain, i feel less and less confident as time passed for my practice... I seriously think i'm going to fail this upcoming test too...

Teaching Practice i think should be ok lah~ As long as i do my unit plan, reflections and teach properly, should be fine... But i'm only concerned with my language... I know that my english sucks... the way i speak and the way i use my words is horrible...

For example...

things expand when the sun is hot! (the sun is always hot... duh!)
the car very fast already, but we are even more faster! (super broken english, plus how can we use "more" and "faster" together? aren't they the same idea?)

Anyway, i know i will be penalized for bad english, i'm only hoping for the best....

Alrights! Better go pack my stuffs now... been trying to clear my stuffs since holidays started...

Been Sick...

I've been sick for the past few days... Sleep super early (5 to 6 am) and Wake up super late (1 to 2 pm)... Come to think of it, i slept for about 6 to 8 hours a day still... But still feel very lethargic becoz of my block nose and sore throat... This coughing only occurs at night about 11pm or so... Causing me to be unable to sleep... Hiaz...

Tml's my first bike practical after so long... Going for road and circuit revision.. Traffic Police Test is on the 28th of May... Wonder if i'll fail again this time...

Been slacking alot and thanks to the swine flu, many assignments are cancelled... so my holiday work will be reduced by alot... i'm starting to feel the effect of the economic downturn... But its mainly due to the fact that my stipend is running low... And i'm not sure when will we get the next stipend...

Sis bday is next week... wonder what to get her... got her quite alot of stuffs already, but still ought to get her something on the actual day... cannot spend too much liao!!

Training... No mood to go for training le... I dunno why, but when something becomes competitive, and people start training because of their desire to win, i would slowly lose interest... The change of management and captains is a good thing, they will bring the team to the next level, but i'm not as enthusiastic as before... See how it goes ba... muz get rid of this illness first~

Mahjong, Soccer and Durian!

Best combination ever!!

Beka and andy came over tuesday (yesterday) and wednesday (today) to watch the champions league games at our place... Both days we had mahjong session! Yesterday i won 6 plus bucks and today i won $20 plus!!!!! For the first time i actually won so much! I had a 5 tai zi mo today! Very happy~!

Anyway, we went to chinatown today to buy the mahjong chips... And the price is SCARY!! its 30cents per piece and having to buy 100, it would cost me 30 bucks liao! Luckily we checked the internet and found this place at Playfair Road, Kapo Building... They are selling it at 10cents per piece!!

After buying the chips, we met up with beka and andy for dinner at eminent frog porridge in geylang lor19... After dinner, we bought durians and came back to our place for our mahjong session...

Today's game (barcelona vs chelsea) is horrible..... Red Card for nothing... Arrgh~ Champions league finals... Man Utd vs Barcelona.... Woohoo~!

Anyway, thats how i have been spending my holidays... Tml (thursday) still got rollerblade session... So fun hor? wahahahaa!!

Okay, i realised i didn't mention anything about the genting trip except that i came back from that short trip recently... Haha!!

Anyway, Genting trip was SUPER last minute... It was decided only the night before the trip! My aunty booked the rooms and the next thing we knew, we were in her car, driving up to genting le... On this trip were my aunty shirlena and her friend (geraldine), my sis (beka) and her bf (andy), me and my dearie... When we reached, it was near to 8pm already... So the night was spent eating dinner, walking around, playing the new laser game and the haunted adventure! We finally ending the day by watching movie... Haha!!

For the next day, we bought the full day themepark ticket and we had so much fun!! I finally threw my guts out of my stomach and went to take all the rides that i avoided since many years ago... All because of my dearie lor~ didn't want to spoil his day... Luckily i didn't actually vomit although i felt really sick after some horrible rides... We also spent the night in the indoor park, taking some photos, watching movie again and resolving some issues between couples... But all was well and we finished the trip with a short casino fun before driving back home...

We had a quick stopover at portdickson for dinner and finally reached home at about 11pm plus plus... Anyway, here are the photos of the trip... Looking at the photos and the silly captions would help you understand what went on during the trip! :) Enjoy!!

Came back from malaysia yesterday morning~! Overall, the trip was FUN!!! although there was a few obstacles along the way... quite a few places that we wanted to visit were closed... that kinda dampened our spirits a little~ But we still had fun! Hee~

Anyway, we went georgetown, penang.... stayed 2 nights there and went to quite a few places, ate alot of fantastic and delicious food~! then we went to cameron highlands and stayed there for 1 night... den finally coming back, making a short detour to sunway pyramid...

Exam ended... Holidays started!!

My exam went badly today... we were supposed to answer 4 out of 6 questions in total, and i studied 5 topics! tried to spot questions due to lack of time! Out of the 5 topics i studied, 4 came out! So i should be very happy right? BUT NO..... The topics i studied were combined into 2 questions... so i had to crap thru the other 2 questions!!! Therefore, if i can scrape a B somehow, i'm super lucky liaoz...

Nevermind that! its over already and there is no point talking bout my failure too much!! Its time to move on! And to mark the end of the exams, we are going to georgetown, penang for a weekend getaway trip!! We will be driving up soon and spending two nights there! I've been there once and its a nice place! so i'm pretty sure we will have fun~ :)

Alrighty, better finish packing~ It will be a long 7 hours drive (at least) to reach there~ Haha!! Jiayou for those that still have exams, and for those already started holidaying, HAVE FUN!!

So dead... exam tml and i just finished preparing my notes.. no time to remember all those information liao lorz... in fact section B i haven prepare at all, so i may lose 25 marks jus like that~ Anyway, i'm quite dead liao~ paper is 1pm tml~ hopefully i can remember some stuffs and the stuffs i remember will come out in the exam~! arrgh!

Alright, better get back to work.. been slacking around too much~! i'm gonna lose my honours this sem...

Birthday... Came and Went...

Yesterday was good friday, chinese calendar 15th day of the month, and my birthday! Wish i can have more fun, but i had to spend half day doing work... Assignments and exams are always very near to my birthday, so for at least another 1 year, i'll have to spend it doing work most probably...

Nik's bday is about the same ba~ so irritating that i can't even remember the events clearly... But once my exam is over, we'll celebrate our birthday again!

Anyway, for yesterday, we went to founder bak kut teh for dinner... waited for half hour before getting a seat... the dinner was $95!!! its even more expensive than a zhi char dinner that we usually eats~! didn't expect it to be so ex... Haha! After dinner, we went back to my aunt's place to cut cake! Lestari cooked the glutinous rice with mango dish for dessert and we played mahjong after that~ had time to play until the "sai" wind~ Haha!

Overall, it was quite boring~ but at least my aunty gave me ang bao! Haha!

Finally finished my IM stuffs on thursday, did some reading on Self-Determination Theory on friday, took a break on Saturday and now regretting on Sunday...

Woke up at 12pm today after returning home from a mahjong session at 4am~ Started reading up on statistical analysis to be used for my literature review then realised that i do not really need to understand those chim-ology to do the paper... Read up a little on how to do a lit review and realized to my horror that i really do not have enough time!!

I'm supposed to read the 6 research paper, analyse each one carefully then try to put what i understand into the lit review~ Its not an easy task! It took me 2 hours for each paper, simply reading, understanding and taking out main points from the research paper. And i have 6!!!

Suddenly to my horror AGAIN, I realised that the topics of the 6 papers are quite different... Which means i'm SO DEAD and i have to spend even more time trying to link the papers up and make it look like they make sense!! ARrgh~!

Really regretted not starting earlier, but i'm those type that must finish one assignment before moving on to another... My math assignment suffered because of dance, and my lit review suffered because of IM... Hiaz... Luckily, this assignment is only 20% and i just have to put together between 3000 to 5000 words... I have till tuesday 2pm to finish and print the paper. I'm officially dead lah for this semester...

My procrastination has finally finished me off~! I should really focus on my assignment now... But what am i doing now? Blogging!!! OMG... Contradiction to its maximum man! Alright, i better get back to work... Jeez...

Friday after IVP game~

It was a great game yesterday vs SIM... we played really hard and we scored 9-13 ba~ It was really good and our peeps really put in alot of effort! I was so influenced by my team peeps, that i also put in extra hard effort~ to a point where my legs can't carry me further and i sprained my ankle while D-ing a disc~!

I did my first layout D yesterday, and sprained my ankle on the 2nd layout D.. The first was really good coz the guy didn't expect me to run and fly to tap down the disc~! Really happy with myself~

As for today, was supposed to spend the whole day doing work, but i only did a little~ Better start to work hard later while dearie goes to meet his GTi friends~ :) Some car drivers gathering thingy~ Hahaa!!

Fieldwork~

Forgot that i had a fieldwork to complete... Which happened today btw.... Don't really think i did a good job during the fieldwork, but well, its over anyway so no point brooding over it~!

At this point, i still have alot of work to complete and barely enough time~ Training, IVP and other commitments... Anyway, from tomorrow onwards, i have 3 days to complete my IM portfolio, another week to work on fieldwork plan and lit review, and another week to study for exam den its the holidays!!

Can't wait for holidays to come~ Oh, i have a Skins Sports series, long sleeves top, size s, for sale... Bought the wrong size... Selling it out for $105. Let me know if u want it~ Thanks!

My dearie bought a new phone!! Its a LG with carbon fibre backing... Thats all i can remember about the phone~ Pretty cool, semi-touch screen i think... Wish i had more time to spend with him! Been working and sleeping alot lately~ Haha! But when the holidays come! It will be FUN~! Already started talking bout where to go and all~ :) Love ya dearie!!

Crunch Weeks...

Few more weeks and its examinations already! Time really flies when you are slacking most of the time! Suddenly its assignment piling up again!!

Currently, i have my IM portfolio (10%), Lit Review (0%) and Creative Dance test left... Hopefully i'll be able to complete my assignments this time.. Can't afford another C.... Arrgh...

Today, there is no IM in the morning and i skipped the TOC class in the afternoon... Which meant that today is a free day for me! Woke up to do a little work and went to SSC to collect the Skins which me and lynn ordered... If it is good, i'll get the tights too! But anyway, spent quite a bit of time travelling up and down... But feeling good anyway... Went to Lot 1 to buy socks and spent 10 bucks in the arcade... Managed to catch 2 big stuffs! So i'm happy~! Hahaa!!

After that, spent all evening finishing up my e-learning assignment for math... And tonight will probably be spent doing some work and playing games with my dearie... I think i need to manage my time better and stop playing so much games!

Harry Potter Audio Books are also taking a lot of my time... Because its story based, which meant that i need to listen and understand, i'm using the same part of the brain when doing work! So this means that i can only do one thing at a time.... And i chose to listen to Harry Potter~ Hahahaa!! (I better stop listening too... Hiaz!)

Anyway~ Gotta rest a little now~ Dinner!

Worse Day of My Life!!

Today, 4pm is my submission... But i overshot the deadline... For the first time that happened to me... Come to think about it, i should have just adapted some tasks and thats it... Why did i go and try so hard to create something new that didn't balance out? Hiaz...

I seriously will not be surprised if i fail this assignment... Think my expected grade for this assignment is D.... Perhaps I'll really get my first C for the first time in my Uni Life... It may seem stupid to be upset about a C, but i'm not... I'm more upset and disappointed with myself... I got my piorities wrong... Dance and Math, should have paid more attention to math... But i chose to spend more time on dance project and keep delaying for the math assignment...

I'm a huge procrastinator and i only do what i like to do... This time, my procrastination has turned around and bit me on my butt... I'm so tired... Really starting to dislike going to school liao... Hiaz...

This morning, jus found out that my exam is increased from 40% to 50% of my grade... Because it is NTU's LAW... ARrgh~ Dunno lah~ I'm expecting alot of Bs and Cs for this sem liao... More to come since i still have 2 more sem... Who knows, my GPA may slip so much that maybe MOE wanna break my bond? Haha~

Eyes Closing...

The test went quite well in the end, will not score, but will not fail also~ Thats probably good enough for me at this point in time~ Really mentally tired already~ Kinda tired of school... Especially when i have 3 out of 5 modules that require me to go out of school quite often... So it's really tiring...

Anyway, our group jus finished working on the project, looks kinda cute but resembles a first aid box~ Will post pictures of our creation after tml's presentation~

For tonight and tml, my time will be dedicated to my "0% progress" mathematics assignment due this friday... I feel that its kinda irritating to have the assignment due so early and yet giving us the breakdown and requirements only 1.5 weeks beforehand... Some of my classmates already started on their work and had to redo quite a bit~ Luckily i have not started then... But now i'm panicking because i'm mentally dead and dried up of creative juices already... Somehow, i dun really enjoy maths anymore, especially with this SUPER UNHELPFUL and BORING TUTOR who was nominated for the best tutor award... How can????? Arrgh~

Tired... Tired... Tired... Feel like sleeping liaoz~! I hope i can gather some "strength" to do my lesson plan tonight~ Tml no nid to sleep liao... Better stock up on my Red Bull drinks~! Unhealthy, but does the job~! Coffee does not work on me and i dun like the taste anyway...

Guilty of Slacking..

1 week recess break is over just like that... and i'm guilty of many things...

Been slacking alot even though there are many many things to do...
1 test, 1 group project and 1 assignment due next week... (mon, thurs and fri, respectively...) And all i have been doing is a little here and there... Haven't started doing my math assignment, group project is about 50% done and I've just started studying for tml's test~!

Anyway, while studying for my test, i came across this video on youtube... Features one of the dance we learnt, Sicilian Tarantella. Look at the comments... "Gym Class learning Shit..." (Lucky our PESS t-shirt is not that obvious in the video...)

So what have we been learning if this is not the "real thing"? there are many versions to this dance i guess, same title, but different dance music and formation... the notes also differs from what we have learnt... many inconsistencies... making me so confused~! :(

Malacca (14 feb) + Port Dickson (21 feb)

Malacca (Pics)

Valentines day was spent in Malacca, we left singapore at about 11am and reached there about 3 hours later. Just driving up via second link cost us $25 sgd and thats just the singapore custom and the tolls... Plus about 30litres of petrol... Anyway, when we reached malacca, we went to the wrong shopping mall... We didn't really do any research, just went by memory, gut feeling and GPS... Haha!! Anyway, had lunch at MarryBrown and drove to equatorial hotel... I recalled that the shopping area is near that hotel...

When we were there, we spent another 30min jus finding for carpark... We parked at this ulu space along this street not too far from the hotel in the end... We went to both shopping mall, bought coffee and oxy and some keropok for my aunt... (DIE, its still with me!!) We walked back to our car, just to check that it is still there, and walked to Jonker Walk where we took many pictures and ate the Famosa Chicken Rice Ball for dinner/supper... We also bought 2 little pictures to decorate our room with... Our only regret was that we ate too full to have the Chendol~!

Malacca was fun! but traffic there was horrendous... The number of cars vs the number of ppl, somehow doesn't seem to add up! Haha! Many cars, but not alot of ppl...

Port Dickson (Pics)

Our Anniversary was spent in Port Dickson, a nice little place with beautiful beach and sunset. It is slightly further than malacca, so u can imagine how much we spent on toll this time... Haha! We "planned" the trip that very morning, we knew we wanted to spend our anniversary there, but we couldn't decide on where... We left our place at about 2pm, and arrived at Port Dickson, Eagle Ranch about 4 hours later. Wanted to book a room there, but it was full house... So we continued to drive to the main Port Dickson area where the beach is...

We stayed at The Regency, 287.50rm. It was a 1 bedroom apartment, facing the sea. Really cosy and comfy. It was a last min choice, and we were too lazy to check out other resorts/hotels... (althou i really wanted to take a look at bayu beach resort... shld be cheaper there...) By the time we checked in, it was near to 7pm already... We drove to a night market and bought all the different kinds of food and drinks and went back to the hotel to eat... Some tasted really good, others only so-so... But it was fun anyway!

After that, we took a night stroll along the beach. It was low tide, and the water level was really low. The light were quite dim, so we couldn't really see the little crabs crawling around. It was cute, seeing some kids running around with their torch lights, trying to catch some of the crabs.

Next morning (actual anniversary), we started the day with breakfast by the beach, i had nasi lemak and nik had chocolate cake. Both tasted REALLY GOOD!! Haha~! Then we went to the beach and enjoyed the morning dip. The "slope" is really gentle... I walked like easily 20 metres and the water level is only waist deep. I was talking about how i have always avoided cutting myself in the water, but soon after, i stepped on something that cut my big toe! I didn't want to know what that something was, and quickly jumped away from that area. We ended up sitting where the waves crashed in and enjoyed watching the horizon there... Wanted to try the banana boat, but didn't have time... Gotta check out at 12pm...

After checking out, we went to Lukut where we had the famous Lucky King Bun. The bun was super soft and buttery and with chicken curry, this dish is definitely a match, made in heaven... Okay, maybe i'm exaggerating a little, but its really good... If u are going to P.D, be sure to go there.

After having lunch, we ventured into the only shopping mall in P.D and it was pretty sad... It was The Store... Very empty, nothing much to see.... Not wanting to end our day like that, we decided to go K.L. We went to KLCC but the things there was too expensive for us... Kinda boring coz its very much like what we have in Singapore... So we went to Berjaya Times Square. The layout is pretty funny there. From Level LG to 1, its like wisma and takashimaya, but from that upwards, its like queenstown and lucky plaza combined... Was tempted to have some fun in the indoor theme park, but couldn't muster any courage to take the rides... Haha!! We ended our day with some grilled bread and dessert, and a 4 hour drive in the rain, back to singapore. Somehow, we always spent less time going home than travelling there...

Regrets? Forgot to bring my camera... But took quite a few with our phones. Will upload them soon!! :)

I hope i didn't miss out anything! Thanks for the trip dearie! I really enjoyed myself, even thou i seem to have became stupid after the trip... Haha!! Muacks!

Back to Reality!

Stipend is In~!

Yupz! Our allowance is FINALLY in.... Waited for so long... I'm now officially "rich"! hahaa!! At least for another few months... Den i'll be broke once again... Allowance not alot actually... $2500 for 6 months... How to survive? :)

On the side note, my dearie is having his first 2week ICT now... ICT for them is In Camp Training... Not our Technology thingy in school... Haha~ Anyway, He is posted to the Armour Camp at Sungei Gedong... Quite Ulu the place, but very near to school... Reporting time for him is 7.30am in the morning... So its either i send him there first or he sends me to school first... Either way, i'm in school usually before 8am!! So sleepy... No wonder i slept last night since 9pm till this morning 6.30am~! Didn't wanna wake up to do some reading for school... HAHA!!

Alrighty, better go get ready for class... I'm actually blogging in the female toilet at B1~! Beside my lockers... Wahahaa!!

Test on monday went quite well, althou i only had 3 hours of sleep... So glad i decided to stick it thru and study for it...

After the test, i started stoning and slacking... Can't seem to get started on work at all... Now i'm rushing to prepare for tml's IM... 7.15am... Meet at Sch canteen... OMG... So early... I wonder how will my lesson turn out... Haha!

Hahaa! Anyway, ICG yesterday was quite fun... But tiring... Coz I came from Frisbee Training...

Today, we visited the school that we were going for micro teaching... Its funny, coz our lecturer told us to wear formal, but he wore sports attire himself... Its different, seeing our classmates out of their sports attire... Refreshing change... But i still hope this would be the only time we need to do that... its super hot and stuffy, wearing long sleeves and all... if you know wat i mean...

Saturday was burnt with the discussion for IM... from 10am to about 4pm... We thought of the lesson plans as a group, but we totally forgot about the unit plan... Guess we'll just copy and paste later... I know i am supposed to do my lesson plan today, but i'm just too tired...

Today was spent at the Zoo with my dearie! Got the tickets from the NIE Fiesta and decided to use it before the tickets expire and before the assignments REALLY kicks in... It was a good and sunny day to visit the zoo! Reached there at about 12pm, had KFC for lunch and KFC again after walking for bout 4 hours! Finished our trip at the Splash show where i got to throw a FRISBEE to Carlos, The Sea Lion! Haha~! Took many photos of the animals, and will upload them to my favourite Picasa once i find some time!

Everyday is Valentines Day for us! According to dear Nik... We already bought and exchanged our Valentines and Anniversary presents! I bought a Crumpler sling laptop bag for him, and he bought me a HTC Touch Diamond! Really cool~! Both bag and phone! And of coz, nik has been playing with my phone ever since~

Next week will be a SUPER hectic week... I really wonder if i'll be able to survive through the week... Meetings! Assignments due! Netball ICG! Frisbee Training! Study for Test! More Assignments! ARRGH!!

Its been 2 weeks since i blogged!

Been busy with Chinese New Year and Bike Test...

CNY this year is different... The visiting has been fast and short, spending not longer than 3 hours at each place... Some only 30 minutes! Its wierd not hanging around and talk and have fun~ But perhaps its becoz nik is not that close with his relatives and it feels kinda wierd for him to hang around too long ba~ As for my aunt's side, its always short... She will always turn up late and one house and that leads to very short visit for all the other houses...

Ang Bao... Okay lah~ Considering the economy downturn, its not that bad... the least i have gotten was 4 bucks (previously had 2 bucks~!) and the most was 18 bucks (not including close relatives')

Bike Test went very well, but i still failed... 32 points! All made up of 4 points and 2 points... Small mistakes, wobbling is the main problem for me... (I didn't felt like i wobbled anyway....) Nvm lor~ Try again... The next test i have not booked... Waiting for a date after the exams... Lecturers have been very nice to exempt me from lessons without a need of an MC, so i can't skip their lessons again~!

Alright, time to go slp again~ Next week have to really start on assignments and stuffs~!

First Frisbee Training Session Since School Started...

Today, we had the first frisbee training session since the semester started... Had a good workout today! Its been a long time since i felt my legs burn while i was running around~! And for the first time in my entire life, i scored my FIRST and SECOND POINT!!! Heeee~! Assisted by Gideon and Daniel (NTU)... It was a fantastic feeling man!! I LOVED IT~! Wooooo Hooooo~!

I was shouting and screaming on the pitch when i scored~! Literally screaming "wooohoo~!" Haha! "I scored my first TRY~!" I must have mixed up rugby and ultimate frisbee... Gideon was trying to correct me that its "point" and not "try"... Anyway, i'm still happy nonetheless!

Going to work super hard for chinese new year... Hopefully can shed some fats while i'm training... Haha!

New Laptop~!

Thanks to the new Student Notebook Loan Scheme, I'm able to own a HP Elitebook for only $51... Yes! This is a one time payment and thats all I've paid~! But i do have to sign some terms and conditions which are pretty harmless... The laptop seems to be quite good, in terms of specs and all... The only downside to this is the OS... Its Windows Vista Business... I can't seem to adapt to using Vista... So fustrating... Even though there are 4gb ram, it still seems to be lagging~! But i will not complain any further... I got it cheap! And although i can't keep it after i graduated, it's STILL cheap!! Hahaa!!

My team... (dunno why eric look so fierce...) Yes, we are kinda siao onz... wearing long four and all... But its essential~! Imagine getting shot at bareskin... The bruise will be HUGE!

Me and Nik spent our weekends working on several projects... We went ikea and bough several new addition to our room... A shelf, some cd racks and a chair... Spent about 130 bucks!

Side track... Our CD rack project failed (FOR NOW), but we worked on another first... Guitar stands!

Here's a close up... Basically, we tied this little wooden hook thingy, which we sawed and spray painted it black, onto an old metal stand that Nik bought for his speaker initially..

Forgot to take a pic of the completed chair... Hahaa!! It was really fun working on these stuffs with my dearie... Sometimes, we dun haf to go out to have fun!!! We are going to do some serious drillings to mount up the cd rack... (We tried to use 3M tape, but it crashed onto the floor after some time together with all the dvds... wrecking at least 2 blue ray disc covers!)

Our lecturer can really talk... If he has all the time in the world, i think he can talk forever... Luckily he had to stop talking in order to give us more playing time... Today, we started with Tag Rugby... and it is today that i realised that i'm getting fat, old, unfit and unhealthy... For a short 45min session of small sided games, i'm already panting and legs wobbly... i need to start conditioning myself... If not i'm going to die in IM...

Plus, i really need to start slimming down again for Chinese New Year... 50% of the clothes i bought in bangkok is too small for me! Hahaa!! Under estimated my size lah~ Plus, you can't really try the clothes in the markets...

My early morning school days are killing me already~ Super slpy man... Especially around this time... But i can't nap... If i did, i'll probably wake up 4 hours later and stay up till 3am!! Now, there is a chance that my tuesday will start at 8.30am too!! Its HORRIBLE....

KJE has been having TERRIBLE traffic jams in the morning for the past 2 days... I wonder what may be the reasons... Could it be that the bukit timah gantry has started operating already?? Come to think of it, saving that $1 or $2 bucks by avoiding that road, and getting stuck in a traffic jam that would burn more petrol... Which is worse??

Arrgh~

1st day of school~!

Time-table is not that bad, except for the 8.30am lessons scheduled on mon, wed and fri... Haha! Imagine the difficulty in waking up, dragging myself and nik to the car, driving through the terrible traffic jam.... Arrgh... Even if nik dun drive me to sch, i'll still have to squeeze through the morning human jam... Either way, it sucks...

Yesterday (Sunday) was FUN! I ended my holiday with a paintball session with some of my poly mates... Eric and his friend were there too... I got to play 2 rounds, about 200 paintballs, shot some targets and many ppl, and successfully retrieved the ammo box TWICE~ Woohoo~ We had 20 ppl, 4 groups of 5... And my group (nik, me, eric, louis and yaofeng) emerged as the overall champion~!!!! Hahaa! And we had 3 noobs~! I would say we did pretty well that day~

Most importantly, the price? $45 per person~! ALL time LOW for me... i used to pay about $60 to $80 per session... So it was a good session... I was hoping that we could organise one for pess. But see how again ba~!

After that, me and nik went to have dinner at Jalan Kayu~! Supposed to have prata there, but settled for Mad Jacks... Passion Card, 10%... Haha! We had..... Chicken Baked Rice, Ribeye Steak, Fried Chicken Wings, Slick of Choc Cake... The food was not that great lah~ Ok ok only... and it cost about 45 bucks too~

Hmmm... 4 groups of 5, $45 per person, food was about $45... Maybe i should buy 4D, 4545... Hahaa!!

Okay... I better sleep soon! Jus came back from a brainstorming session with nik and his friends... Some new game concept thingy~ Slpy~!!!!!

Poor Ankle...

Can't believe it, i sprained my ankle just 2 days (yesterday) before school starts... Its the same ankle as the one i sprained in bangkok... And i sprained it just minutes after i started playing badminton with nik at Yew Tee CC... Luckily, it was a mild sprain, so i could still walk and play a little... Haha!

Today i'm still going to play paintball at OCC... Yesterday followed nik to The Chevrons to buy his army supplies and i got the uniform for myself! Hee~ bout 30 bucks~ Heee! Wanted to get the desert storm digital print in bangkok, but couldn't part with my money... Now i'm already regretting that decision... Hiaz... What to do? Buy local one lor~ Hee~

Alright, time to go tape up my ankle so that i can run properly~

While some people are counting down at marina, sentosa or even at nee soon, others are counting down at home... But for the 4 of us, (me, nik, beka and andy), we were counting down at pizza hut~! Counting down the number of boxes that we are folding and the actual counting down with FM95.0~ Haha! Andy and beka had to work till 11pm... But life at pizza hut is always about OT without extra pay... So by the time andy is done, its already 12.15am...

Whats my new year's resolution for year 2009? I didn't make any... Coz not fufilling my 2008 resolutions made me pretty irritated... Although i couldn't remember wat were my resolutions... Hahaa! Anyway, year 2008 has been pretty rough and pretty sweet... Hope 2009 will be better and i'll have money to last thru the year! :)

We just came back from thailand today... had a wonderful time in both chiang rai and bangkok~!

Jus a snippet of the holiday,

Its quite cold in chiang rai~ their pace of life is quite slow, and the people are generally nice ppl... imagine this, most of the vehicles there are trucks and bikes, but they will slow down and stop for people to cross the road even when there is no traffic lights~ Hmmm... We rented a car on the 2nd day, got lost finding the long neck hill tribe and ended up driving along a mountain road that resembles those we see in the initial D anime or movie! Hahaa~ But we dun dare to drive too fast also lah~ Oh!! My dad's Chicken Rice Shop is there too~! So if you are going to Chiang Rai, muz get the address from me kk? Hahaa!

As for bangkok, most memorable is the fact that we got cheated for the "Thai ger" show~ Long story lah~ Hiaz... Other than that, nik and andy paid 1800baht to watch the real Thai Boxing matches while me and sis went shopping at suan lum... But we managed to sneak in to watch the final match between two small but fierce boys~! We spent most of our time shopping there... Shop and Shop~ Chatuchak market is now called as Ja tu Jak or JJ market! Haha~ More "modernised" le~ Haha! But its jus the name lah, everything else remains pretty much the same...

The most disappointing part of the bangkok trip would probably be our hotel... we paid quite a lot for a small hotel, but the service were quite bad at the start... lousy rooms... lousy spa arrangements... but in between were okay... den ended with lousy service again when checking out... Hiaz...

Overall? Quite fun ba! Shopping... Relaxing... Sprained Ankle... Wahahaa!! OH!!! So Sorry! No souveniors, coz i'm already very broke! Next time kk?

What have i been doing?

Hmmm... After the whole "mechanic" experience yesterday, i realised that i haven't been blogging much. Since i happen to be quite free today, i'm gonna try to sum everything that have happened so far, off-hand... Here goes...

My real holiday probably started with a rollerblading session with eileen, lapyin, sweebin and eric~ My sis and andy was there too! After that, they went for dinner and i went to pick nik up for dinner at botak jones. The coffeeshop that houses botak jones have become a "highclass" kopitiam already~ Other than botak jones, there is a italian pasta and pizza joint, as well as a jap bento set kinda shop... The jap shop can pay by nets lor!! haha!

Next outing would be a makan outing at golden mile food centre... Went there after work and met up with eileen, lapyin and sweebin... jeremy couldn't make it~ The makan session is supposed to be for nidhi (dunno how to spell) but she didn't turn up~ fly aeroplane... After that, nik came to pick me, and we went for movie and supper... watched the first R21 rated movie called "Zack and Miri make a Porn" Its really hilarious and at some point loving... Exclusive at GV only~

Next up, settlers with lapyin and jeremy... eileen suddenly fell sick, so couldn't make it... but it was still super fun! we started out with blokus, the hexagon one... and continued with powergrid, which we played for the rest of the 3 hours... we followed the rulez, but we played too much and too long... so the ending was quite screwed... FUN nonetheless! After that, we continued a little more at lapyin's house where we played this super old, but super fun game called Careers... Lapyin's house is in the middle of chinatown area and has a fantastic view of the city... but the view would soon be blocked by a new, currently under construction, hotel... hiaz...

Not forgetting all the work that i have been doing on and off... freelance style, earn a little for my upcoming holiday and christmas presents... and the dates for these work has been clashing with my frisbee training... this is bad, coz i haven trained with the peeps for very long le... they would definately have developed the "mo qi" already... me joining them for the competition may not be a good thing... but i'm still going ba~ sorry guys!

Malaysia makan and shopping trip with my aunt... Altogether, 6 of us... drove in to city square... The jam to msia started so far away from the checkpoint... and there were so many bikes, that they had to close the car lane to hold all of them!! We spent almost 1.5 to 2 hours in the car... waiting for our passports to get stamped... We finally reached city square at bout 7pm and ate secret recipe... the standard dropped for quite a few dishes... think its becoz its a weekend ba~ anyway, we paid 170 rm for 6 of us... 7 main course, 2 cakes, 6 drinks... u do the math~ :) After that we went shopping a little and bought a new airwalk bag and ipanema slippers... hopefully this pair of slippers will not give me blisters!

Then followed by a cute grocery shopping trip with nik and his mom at Giant, IMM. I dunno how to describe this experience but its quite fun to watch how nik disturbs his mom~ Haha!

Oh, most important! Dearie nik gave me my christmas present already! Its a baby-G watch that is not made up of rubber~ Hahahaa!! metal face, metal strap~ super classy and simple for a baby-G watch~ I love it~! THANK YOU~! Heeee~ Hmmm~ What should i get him?

Car, Level up!

Today we just level up our car! Now, we have "newer" tyres and "newer" seats! "newer" becoz its second hand stuffs, but still comparatively newer than the ones we had... Now, it looks cool and feels good... we spent the whole afternoon, evening and night doing all of that man~ So tiring... Now my fingers are all puffed up and reddish from trying to unscrew the bolts and all... But the effort is so worth it man~

After that, we went to golden mile to change money, followed by "dupper" (dinner + supper) at newton circus food centre... had steamed garoupa and fried chicken! Super nice! main purpose was to look up my mom... jus to see how she has been as well as to introduce nik to my mom and vice versa~

Today alone, we spent $650+ on the upgrades and food... This month, we are broke once again... We better start saving money le lah~ been spending and spending, but not saving... Haha!! We also bought an LCD monitor for his PS3 in the room... that cost us $379 and a $80 HDMI cable... So... we easily spent 1k already~ Plus the car installment and insurance... Woah... $1.5k!!!!! OMG... Plus the air ticket and hotel that cost us almost $500 per person! And the holiday spending money... Jialat!!! I wan CNY to come soon!!!

Nike Vapor = Jogging~!

Yesterday Nik bought this Nike Vapor earphones for me and this sparked my jogging frenzy (not sure if i used the word correctly thou). Anyway, after charging my Zen X-Fi, I strapped it onto my arm band and connected this earphones... It took quite sometime to put on the earphones, but once its on, its really comfortable! The short cord length minimized tangles especially when its connected to my armband~ While jogging, there was no hassle with the cords, or the earphones! It stayed where it should be... And the best part? I can wear my specs and still this earphones gave no problem at all~! How wonderful is that? This will most prob be my jogging companion for a long time~ Hee!

I started at Yewtee MRT, and jogged towards Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange where i bought a bottled mineral water... From there, i continued on the park connector towards Little Guilin at Bukit Gombak... But i never made it there... I got LOST... I lost the park connector at a road junction near Sunshine Place and i ended up at this weird MRT tunnel... Afraid that i'll be even more lost, i decided to head back... I jogged along a little neighbourhood park and reached South View LRT... From there, i basically followed the MRT track all the way back to Yewtee... Haha!! If i really jogged the route that i think i did, i would have jogged 6.4km!! (Plus minus 0.5km ba)

What a journey!! I'm gonna do some research and the next time, i'll reach Little Guilin!!! Hahahaa!!! Anyway, tml, blading at ECP, 6pm... If u wanna go, do sms me or Eileen k?

Thailand, here we come!

Eileen told us that tickets to bangkok are very cheap now... So i went online and check it out~ Indeed!! Its cheap~! Imagine, free seat promotion to bangkok!! But the airport tax, baggage charge and everything else is expensive~! But we are still going anyway! There is no direct flight to Chiang Rai, so we had to spend extra 125 per person on a transfer flight there...

The trip will be a 7 day trip, 2 in Chang Rai, 4 in Bangkok~ 1 day spent in transferring and waiting... Have to save money on airfare leh~ But heck it~ It will be fun~! Currently, the total per person is bout 500+ SGD on air tickets and hotels... its not that expensive, considering that it is during super peak period~

I'm so excited over this trip~! Had to give up the kelong fishing season trip becoz of this... So this trip better be worth it! Heee~

Today (sunday) was fun!

I woke up only at 3pm~ coz i slept late the night before~ Watched two VERY boring soccer match... Can u believe it? Liverpool drew against Fulham and Man-U drew against Aston Villa... I was expecting at least 2 goal lead for both games!

Anyway, so we woke up, played a bit of games and drove nik's mom to his grandma's place before heading to great world city... GV there was pathetic... only 4 movies?! Nothing there to shop too... So we decided to go Cineleisure after getting a quick bite at Toast Box... The toast and soft boiled eggs were ordinary... but their tea was not bad... Paid 1.60 for the carpark there...

At orchard, we parked at cairnhill place (or was it plaza?) and walked to cineleisure~ Bought tix to watch "The Good, The Bad and The Wierd". After that, we went to eat Jap fried noodles and had Crepes at basement 1 of cine~ We slacked for about 1 hour there and played Guillotine (a card game i bought~) We got kinda bored and took a quick walk to hmv where nik bought speakers and earphones~ We lost track of time and had to rush back to the theater! The show was quite nice actually, funny... Easier to digest than Body of Lies which we watched on Friday~ We paid 9.60 for carpark there!!!!!!! But its supposed to be the cheapest carpark in Orchard... But its worth it! Imagine taking cab back, it will cost ALOT more...

Now thats what I call, Holidays...

Whats a holiday without money...

I failed... my TP... thats wierd becoz its due to an immediate failure... i dropped off the plank~ They gave me the best bike, and i was happy with it... until now i have no idea what happened... i was so sure i'm gonna nail this one~! Anyway i had to extend the course, renew the PDL, book a revision before i can book my TP... nearest TP date is 29th Jan... Thats like super duper far away from now... Its a school day... AND its the Chinese New Year week!! All the testers will be upset that they had to do this shit and so i think they will fail us even if we dun fail ourselves! Arrgh~

As for money... I need money!!! I wanna go for holiday... But i'll need money for that... Jus loan 3k to my dad... that's like my one sem's stipend + $500~! All gone and most prob not coming back... But what to do? A daughter has to do wat she has to do~ Hiaz...

Dun ask me to give tuition... I wun... Its kinda like a principle... U can say that i'm not up to it or something... But i just dun wan to... If i really run dry... I'll loan... Take up holiday job... But not tuitioning... Haha!

This holiday... i seriously dunno what to do man~ With the economic downturn and all... I wanna go Chang Rai to check out my father's latest business thingy... But the ticket is so expensive... And if i'm going, i would wan Nik to go wif me, as well as beka and andy~ BUT... thats a big unsure thingy now... As for the kelong trip, i tink we are going for sure... dun wanna miss this whole fishing season~

Yeah Rite!! Holidays has not started for me due to several reasons...

(1) TP... TML~! Today spent almost 5 hours at SSDC to practice... Hopefully its enough for me to pass tml~

(2) The next 1 or 2 weeks, i hope to clear my comm's finance stuffs asap... So that i can really "enjoy" my holidays... Haha!

(3) My dad may be coming back to seek treatment, so i'll be busy settling his admin stuffs too...

Oh! and my mom suddenly send me a wierd sms...

"Hi, how r u, everything o.k?? How u n rebacca , pls call me if anyjhing happan , i'll alway be at both side. Mom love u....."

This is weird mainly becoz she doesn't sms on her own accord... and she doesn't "express" herself... what's up wif the "love u" stuffs... *shiver* Dunno lah~ i jus replied her with "all ok" and thats it... see how it goes lor~
